IP Renew Error

If you receive an error while releasing/renewing your IP address, follow the instructions given below:

IP conflict - IP already in use on the network

  • There may be another computer on the network currently using the IP that is registered to you. To resolve this matter, contact ResTek at x2946 and we can assign you a new IP.

Could not contact DHCP server

  • Check your Ethernet connection by following the 169 IP Troubleshooting instructions.
  • If those instructions do not resolve the issue, contact ResTek. There may be an outage preventing your computer from contacting our server.
